Camping again!
Jon just loves camping, so last Friday he took Tristen and Maddy and invited some friends to go camping. Real camping! No bathrooms, no cabins, out in the woods and a tent camping. I thought Landen would have a hard time so I stayed home with him, but they had a good time. The last fun thing before school starts!

My boys at Boys Scouts!
Jon and Tristen have been busy this summer almost every weekend with boy scouts. Jon is a scout leader and Tristen has been in scouts since 8. They've gone crawdad fishing, gone on a 50mile bike ride, got there swimming merit badge, did a 5 mile hike, and have gone on numerous camp outs. It's been a great father son experience for both of them, and for that I am grateful. Here are pictures of the last hike they did.

Happy birthday to me.
The scariest lighting storm ever!
Last night were awoken by loud house trembling thunder, and lighting that started behind our house then moved north. It was hard to sleep through this lighting storm we were in the middle of. Make sure you go on our blog to see the video and turn the music off so you can hear the thunder.
Landen turned 1! Happy birthday baby boy!
My big boy is 25lbs 31inches long, today 8/4/2010 he started walking. Yeah! He is a handful, and I've loved being at home with him for the summer. He claps when he's happy, and recently started screaming when he's not so happy. A little early for the terrible twos isn't it? Never the less he's my babas and I love him to pieces.
Shopping with my babies
Before Maddy left to Cali to see her dad my days pretty much went like this. Grocery shopping none stop with 4 children to feed, and this was so cute that I couldn't help to take a picture. My 2 youngest babies, the ones that when everyone else is gone we will be left with. I'll take another similar picture in 10 years to see how much they've changed except I don't think they will fit anymore.
Maddy is a dancing machine!
Madisen did awesome in ballet but this next year she wants to be in hip hop. She's has done ballet, tap and now something new, how am I to keep up with her? She's a wonderful dancer no matter what dance she does, and I can't wait. I've always wanted to be a dancer, and am reliving my dream through my daughter that the dancing gene and dancers body.
Our new deck made the summer so much better!
Jon was able to build an awesome deck, nice and simple to go with our backyard. It worked out great since the kids have been in the backyard majority of the summer and we had Landens party and our Luau, which don't worry the grass did get greener by that time. I finally got a chance to transfer my phone pictures onto the computer so now I'm playing catch up.
