Has anyone seen rudolph?

It's Xmas time again. We put up our tree and there's snow outside, all that's missing is Rudolph the red nose reindeer. Hey we found him! He looks a lot like Landen though. We are so excited this Xmas because we get to drive to California to see my family and it's been a long time. Ever since I got pregnant with Landen our travels have been limited that and Jon not having a job didn't help either. It will be a long drive with Landen but it's worth it. Xmas isn't the same without family around. Can't wait.

Can you believe he's 4months now!

Where has the time gone, really. Landen is growing so fast I can't keep up with my growing boy.
So now he is 4 months and as you can see by the pictures he's : discovered his toys, hands, baby food, and how to hold his own bottle. He is 16lbs and 25 1/2 inches long, and so strong. He's normally very calm unless he's hungry than it's no joking matter, but he is such a good baby.
I am so thankful for my beautiful little boy.

Ahhh, Landen's eating baby cereal!

That's right, he's eating solids. Crazy huh, the doctor told us he's 15.9lbs now and he's needed more, so little by little we are giving him baby cereal and soon baby food. He's doing so good, he eats it up. My baby's growing up.

Football is officially over!

Tristen worked so hard this summer to earn the money to be able to play football and it was all worth it. His team did awesome. They made it to championships and even though they lost they gave it they're all. Tristen was practicing and playing 4 times a week so it pretty much took over our lives. But now it's over and he's like 10lbs lighter. By the way he's number 33. He's counting the days until next year. NFL here we come. Landen's studying his brothers moves for when he's old enough.

Gotta love Halloween!

Happy Halloween, we just LOVE Halloween around here. Landen was a rooster chick for a brief second, he was a bit uncomfortable so it didn't last but he looked cute anyway. Madisen wanted to be a witch so she got the hat and we later added the wig (which she complained was too itchy) and the glasses and nose ( that was too big). Kids can't ever please them. Hannah wanted to be a scary vampire and man she was, with those teeth and makeup ohhh scary. Tristen was orignally a ghostbuster as you could see in the pictures of our Halloween party but later decided just to where his football uniform so that's what he ended up being. Maybe next year he'll make more of an attempt, or maybe next year he'll say he's too old. That's my teenager! Anyhow, hope everyone had a great Halloween and we'll see you next year!

Happy 7th birthday Madisen!

Oct.30th was Madisen's 7th birthday and Man she is like 7 going on 17. She wanted a new bike for her birthday so that's what she got, you can see it in the picture. I made some cool cupcakes, played so Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift her favorite singers, hung up a pinata full of candy and it was such a nice day we threw them all in the backyard. She had fun and that's all that mattered. My baby's not a baby anymore, thank goodness I have another one. Now when he turns 7 then I will start to cry.

Halloween Party!

So since every year we have a Halloween party for Madisen's birthday we decided to have a regular Halloween party the weekend before so we did. We already had the place all done up and spooky, and Jon loves to dj and dance so it came out to be a great idea. Everyone had fun including Tristen and all his friends as you can see in the picture with the dancing. We had a lot of fun costumes and fun times and we decided to begin a halloween tradation.

Happy 3 months Landen

Can you believe it, it's been 3 months and he is cutier than ever. He wants to sit by himself so much, and last week he slept from 10pm to 6:45am, but that didn't last. Here the milestones that we have to look forward to this month:
Your baby has been able to recognize you since he was just a few days old, but now he may actually be able to show it. About half of babies this age begin to exhibit an obvious recognition of their parents.

Your baby will probably continue to smile at strangers, especially when they look him straight in the eye and coo or talk to him. But he's starting to sort out who's who in his life, and he definitely prefers you, your partner, and perhaps a few others.

Your baby may quiet down and make eye contact with you, or he may search for you in a room and move his arms in excitement or smile when he finds you. He may even find your scent calming and comforting.

Our baby is growing up so fast.

Here comes Halloween!

Here comes Halloween, here comes halloween, halloween, halloween! We Baytons Love Halloween! It all started with Madisen's birth, Oct.30th. And over the years, her Halloween birthday party got bigger and bigger. So now our house looks like a haunted house. But it all begins with the pumpkins! So here we are picking and carving pumpkins. Except poor Tristen, he got the flu, so his pumpkin will get carved a bit later.

Oh baby Landen how much you are growing.

Landen is 2 month's and 4 weeks, he'll soon be 3 months and do oh so much. Sorry about the video being sideways, I forget when I do video that I have to have it straight up. Oopps.
He's getting so big, here are a few facts of what he able to do now:
Your baby is becoming very handy. Although he's already aware of his hands, he's now inspecting them like Sherlock Holmes. He turns them around, the better to look at his fingers from all sides. He opens and shuts his fists, watching each finger as it moves up and down. To help your baby develop her blossoming hand-eye coordination, try dangling a toy just out of reach so she has to grab for it.

Happy 2 months Landen!

Can you believe it's been 2 months since my beautiful baby boy was born. He's so big now, and strong man is he strong. He can pretty much hold his own head up by himself. Now that I'm working again he gets to spend lots of quality time with Daddy. That includes taking naps together as you can tell in the first picture. He has his 2 month physical tomorrow that Jon gets to take him to and witness the horrible shots he gets. Wish him luck. I know he's got to be around 13 to 14 lbs by now, at least that's what my back tells me.

Oh how a smile can lighten your day!

d
Every now and then we can get Landen to smile for us but I can never get it on camera except for today. He looked so stinken cute today I thought I would take pictures of him and I was lucky enough to catch a smile. I love it when he smiles because even when your up all night because he's not feeling good or he just won't go back to sleep at 2am, he can smile and you suddenly forget how tired you are. I love my Landen Boy so much, and he makes me smile everyday, Did he make you smile?

Labor Day

Labor Day we went up to the mountains to a park and had a great time with friends. We bbqued and had water balloons and enjoyed each others company.
