Let it Snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Man it started snowing Tuesday and hasn't stopped. No wait, yesterday it stopped but today it started again and hasn't stopped. The kids love it because they get to play in it, but me I just like staying at home where it's nice and warm! Hot Coco anyone?

Santa Claus is coming to Town!

So the funniest thing happened this last Sat.night. Jon's on the phone, and Maddy and I are in the bathroom getting her ready to take her nightly shower while I'm talking to her dad to find out flight info for next Sat. Anyhow, all of a sudden the doorbell rings, and we hear jingle bells and a "HO HO HO!". Maddy's eyes lite up, and I said "Maddy I think Santa is here." I went out to look and he was. So I got off the phone and tried to help Maddy get dressed again. She was so excited, and said " Mommy, is it really him!" She still to this day can't believe he came to her house. I told her he probably knew that she wasn't going to be here for Xmas so he made a special trip just for her. She felt so special, she couldn't even think of what she wanted when he asked. Once he left she had to call everyone. It was a great experience for all of us.

Grandma came to visit!

So my mom came to visit us this last week, and we all really enjoyed it. It went by fast and we didn't want her to leave but she had to go back to my dad and brothers. She really liked Orem, and said it was very beautiful. We are in the middle of mountains so the scenery is a plus. Hopefully more family can come next time since were easier to get to now.

The Beautiful Temple lights

This is the wonderful part of living here, we don't have to drive so far to Salt Lake anymore to see the beautiful lights at Temple Square.
It was great, we took the train, had hot chocolate and felt the spirit.

God only gives us what we can handle

It looks like I'm having one baby. We have to admit the thought of having twins sounding fun. But one is fine with us as long as it's healthy. We are grateful for whatever God gives us.
