Easter

This Easter weekend was a very long and busy one. We first drove to see Carl in Monterey Calif. and it was beautiful. We got to go to Fishermens Wharf and see the seals lounging around by the ocean and then the next day we went to the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium which was pretty awesome. We saw fish, jellyfish, penguins, and much more. It was all pretty cool, Thanks Carl. Then we drove to Sacramento to see my family and also had a blast. We stayed with Sal and Melissa and Jon and I got to spend some alone time after the kids went back to Bakersfield on Sunday. We spent Monday with Sal and Melissa and had a really good time, thanks guys! It defiantly made the extra long trip through the snow storm in Nevada and Utah back home worth all the good times we had. It was the vacation time we needed before coming back to our hectic life.

Maddys growing up so fast

Maddy learned how to ride a bike this last weekend and what surprises me is that she wasn't scared at at all. I remember being terrified when I first learned, but not Madisen. Some of the neighbors older girls had this bike and gave it to her so she was determined to learn how to ride it. I'm so proud of her.

It's a Boy!

That's right, Landen is coming. I always felt like it was a boy, and my feelings came out to be true. And everything looks great, he's healthy and kicking, he looked like he was going to suck his thumb when we first looked because he's arm was next to his face. We are so grateful for this miracle in our lives. We have to thank God first and foremost, and it makes all we had to go through to get here worth it.

Finally a warm day!

Today the temp. is 60degrees and man it feels so good after a cold winter. Even though is probably won't stay since there's a storm headed this way, we cherish it while it's here. Can't wait for my family to come in May, it will be so nice.

Maddys new look

It got to the point that Maddy had 2 front teeth just dangling there. They are both so loose but one more than the other. I finally helped her out and one came right out.
She looks so different, and silly now. We are waiting until this next weekend and hopefully the other one will come out also. She's already got the new ones coming in. My baby's growing up.

Draper Temple Open House

Last Saturday we had the opportunity to take the kids to the new Draper Temple here in Draper, UT. This is a great chance for the kids to see yet another beautiful temple inside and out. They ask lots of questions and know that some day they will be able to go to any temple they want and feel that peace and tranquility that is greatly needed in life.

Jon & Tristens ski/snowboarding trip at Park City

About a month ago Jon won ski lift tickets on the radio, and since I'm prego, he took this opportunity to spend some quality time with his son. Of coarse I was jealous because the day was beautiful and they had so much fun. People from everywhere come to ski at Park City, UT. They both did not expect how great the day was going to be which included the scorching sun. They both came home with sun burnt faces but it was all worth it.

Tristens birthday landing on a Saturday this year and we had a big boy party.
Talk about Boys gone wild, man they were a handful. But Tristen had fun and thats all that matters.

Jons 34th birthday!

He did it, he finally turned 34! I'm not too far behind him but he is closer to his mid 30s. It felt like just yesterday I was dating a 30 year old and now look at him, not a bit has changed. We invited our good friends and had some cake & presents for him. Thanks to everyone that emailed him on his birthday it really made his day.

Growing Belly

I just had my 16 week check up and the baby is doing good. Good heartbeat and my uterus is the right size. Here is a picture from last week when I was 15 weeks, a bit bigger than last time, and yes it is blurry for a reason, unfortunately being pregnant with Tristen I got a lot of stretch marks so this way you can't see them as bad.
Next time you see my belly I'll be 20 weeks and we have an ultrasound with the babys sex. Exciting!
