Happy Halloween!
Our 3rd annual Halloween party was a hit! We love Halloween time, mostly because we love throwing parties. We danced all of Tristen's friends ate and the rest of us talked and mingled. It has begun to be a tradition that hopefully will be pasted down. The older the kids get the more they will look forward to this time of year every year.
We also have all the other little parties like Maddy's gymnastic halloween party, our ward party, and of course Halloween night!

Girls Gettaway
So in the 6 years I've been married, I have never gone away on a girls getaway. I didn't realize that until we (my friend Alicia and I) started planning a trip. I found an awesome deal on a 2 night getaway in Park City. The resort was awesome and our days together were unforgettable. We went shopping, eat out, got dressed up and went out dancing but most of all we took some more than needed ME time! Being a mom and a wife or in Alicia's case having 5 jobs is exhausting and you end up going crazy if you don't take some sort of break. It was great to be with just the girls. Thanks Girls!

Happy Birthday Maddy!
Ok, so her birthday isn't til the 30th but this weekend was the only weekend we could have her party. She got the choice to have a Halloween birthday party like she's had since she was born or do something else. How did I know she wanted to do something else. She wanted to go to Jump On It that is a place where it's all about jumping on trampolines, bouncy houses, foam pits, you name it. So I took her and her friends and off we went. We came back to the house and had her favorite pumpkin pie and opened presents.
Maddy's new do for her 9th Bday!
Pumpkin Patch Time
Too much too little time
So I seriously have not had any time to blog. But I'm doing the best I can. Latest thing was Jon's hike up Mt. Timp which took them 5 hrs to get to the top. Tristen has been having problems with his knees and back with football so after an hour he headed back to the car. He invited some friends and took some beautiful pictures. They got up at 3am to watch the sunrise.

Daddy Daughter Date
Labor Day
Ok, so you're probably wondering where all the pictures are and honestly there on my camera still. I have not had extra time to upload them but I will I promise!
Labor Day we went to visit my brother Sal and see Melissa. She is doing so great. I'm pretty sure everyone knows about her cancer but if you didn't my sister in law which I love and adore has stage 3 breast cancer. She is fighting it and most important is a breast cancer survivor!
We took the first opportunity to go see them and Labor day was the perfect with the extra days since it's such a long drive. Thanks to my dad I do have pictures for this one.
Sorry so long!
I can't remember the last time I've blogged which is not a good thing. And I can't use facebook as an excuse cause we don't have one. Ok, so now what has been happening? Well school started again. Tristen's a freshman this year, playing sophmore football for the high school. Maddy's in 3rd grade and in gymnastics and acting class. Enough said about that =0). Landen is growing so much. Talking more and more. Still potty training him which is enough said also. Jon and I just had our 6th anniversary and with the help of Gabby and Alicia it was great! He surprised me with a night in Salt Lake City. We stayed at the Castle Creek Inn which is the same place we stayed on our 2nd anniversary. Its a themed room hotel so the room was a Scottish themed room with a hot tub in the room. We went to Olive Garden my favorite restaurant. And then we went and took a Salsa dance class and then danced the night away with a live Salsa Band! Lets just say it was the best anniversary it could ever be for 6 years. I love my wonderful husband and thank him for last 6 years. I will add pictures later.

Tristen got 1st place!
Jon and Tristen did a triathlon with the scouts last Sat. and Tristen got 1st place for his age group. He did so awesome, we are so proud of him. Jon got clipped by another bike and got injured so he did OK, but he finished and that's what's important. He gets the scars as a memory while Tristen gets a medal. It was a great experience!
